Isabella Hernandez was born in the small town of Melrose Park, Illinois. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Elmhurst University in May of 2026. Isabella has shown her work in the MiddleWestern Voice Magazine and at the Capstone Art Exhibition at EU. Additionally, she has demonstrated her strengths while interning at the Elmhurst Art Museum, serving as part of the 2025 design staff for MWV, and being a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and Lambda Pi Eta, the National Honor Society and the Communication Honor Society at EU. Isabella has received several awards, including the Early Action Scholarship, Art Talent Scholarship, American Dream Grant, Dean’s Scholarship, and the Kolb Talent Award from Elmhurst University. She currently resides in Plainfield, IL, and when she is not sipping on an iced matcha, she is working on all things design.
